(Sometimes it is hair raising, but deep down inside it is amazing to watch a little one continue to grow.) Kudos to you to for being such a wonderful mother!

Happy Birthday to your handsome son, Frances! You have such a beautiful family. I know, too, like so many who have posted, how special it is to have a son. My son is just twelve, but he officially passed me in height in the past two weeks! Just last night, my husband gasped in the kitchen, "Henry's taller than you!" As the two of them laughed at the thought of me looking up to him in the next month!, I hugged him and felt myself getting choked up. It's a huge milestone for me, like the first time I realized I could no longer carry his tired body to bed. But to see you with your young man, I realize I have so much to look forward to! And they'll always be our babies, right?
