I just stumbled across this gorgeous, beyond stunning hotel in Italy on the Isle of Capri .......
The blue/white palette is so elegant, cool
and sophisticated ......
The attention to detail whilst still maintaining a classic interior but with a contemporary twist ......
Long flowing bed and French door drapes give clean lines and the all white palette is given depth with the architectural panelling and fireplace .... and of course the zebra pattern on the ottomans ..... just beautiful ..
Yes could definitely come and sit on one of these pool chairs .... just such a stunning property and with the Gulf of Naples as its backdrop it is idyllic ..... enjoy

How gorgeous! I could happily while away the day right there beside the pool and then those stunning rooms. ;-)
I would so love to escape to this gorgeous place right now! Thanks for your lovely words of encouragement...hope you guys are all getting back on your feet after the floods up there too! It's surreal to think about what our cities have just been through. Tracey xx

GOOD MORNING DEAREST! Oh....Capri, what a place of enchantment..I love Italy. Oh what are we to do, we have so many dream places!!!! GROSSES BISES Anita
Dear Frances,
First things first. I absolutely love your style. I'm sure Anita has told you that we are nearing completion of adding two rooms to our house and we have been working those glorious classical features of luminescent white walls, french doors, vaulted ceiling, arched entryway, arched panel doors, etc. We will have to do a post with pictures when they're done (I know Anita dying to do that).
Second, thank you so much for your wonderful comment on Heavenly Minded & Earthly Good (which I am a week behind in posting because of my schedule). It is so crucial that we cherish and nurture our relationships, for that is the legacy we leave to others. I am sort of a religious mutt (because no one religion or its followers seem to get everything right all the time). I therefore feel that even religion, any religion, must be subject to the dictum of the medical profession (which you and hour husband are surely familiar with): first do no harm.
I love your attitude.
Blessings to you and your family.

Bonjour ma chère et precieuse amie!
Merci for your lovely, lovely comments dear heart! I am actually doing very well, but so tired and anxious to get our home back in order. With work (for which I am completely grateful) is time consuming and I am looking forward already to spring break. I think that the disorder in the house right now is just making me dizzy! Then, I find myself not having the kind of time even on the weekends, to fill myself with the things necessary to INSPIRE my creativity. It will come again, but it is hard for an artist to crave doing the craft and not being able to do it!!!
CHEERS TO YOU DEAR ONE, and you are so wonderful! Bises, Anita
Hello,
I just wanted to drop a line from India and say how much I love your blog! It's not really everyday we get to see blogs of such class :) I love all the designs you feature on here, oh, and for the record - I adore your new Louis set!

I fell so soooo in love with this gorgeous blue white interior! Love LOVE it.
Have a sweet evening. xx
One of my favorite color combinations, and in Capri...perfection. Thrilled to find your stunning blog!!
Hi Frances,
Your post makes me want to go back to Capri all over again. My last hotel was no where near as sophisticated & I was so sick - I couldn't even go sightseeing! What a waste but now I have an excuse to go back!
