Just some gorgeous pictures from Paris and the Hotel Georges V.
Such beautiful, elegant designs and interiors ....
Lovingly restored and dates back to circa 1928 ....
There are some gorgeous 18th century tapestries which adourn the walls ....
Just perfect for a rendevouz in the "City of Lights" ..... something so beautiful which has stood the test of time ..... we hope that Japan too can withstand this terrible test that nature has given her ..... our prayers are with you.
Stayed there about a year and a half ago and it was definitely one of my all time favorite hotels...the opulence and elegance knows no limits and those flower displays in the foyer..talk about theatrics! It is just amazingly gorgeous and captures the essence of Parisian grandeur.
Bonjour ma chère amie. Ces photos de Paris sont superbes. How I love your style, your heart, your vision. I will be having a birthday party in April, and do you remember last year when I had a Marie Antoinette style celebration? Well, I think that is when we "met." I hope to have another Marie-style celebration, just for you and my other dears who love all things French. Bises, Anita
Oh Frannie don't you wish we were there now!! Hope you had a good St. Patty's Day and thanks for this glamorous bit for my plain workaday today! xoxo Kit
A stunning hotel. A girlfriend of mine was lucky enough to stay in this hotel. She took lots of pictures. Every room and the lobby was absolutely gorgeous:)
Bonjour! What a beautiful place! Oh, I can't wait to be in Paris one time again! I miss all about it! And you are right, it is inconceivable to hear every day the horrors happening in Japan. We have friends in Tokyo, we have not heard from them... PS: Come and visit, I re-did a side board and it looks good.... Love to you and yours! Au revoir! Victoria
Gorgeous, gorgeous post! Just came back from Paris yesterday. What a beautiful city and this hotel seems perfect in any way. Thanks for the inspiration. I would like to go back right away!!!
This does look lovely and a far cry from any hotel I have ever stayed at in Paris. I can rarely afford to stay in such exquisite surroundings but I always make a point to stop in and have some lunch or afternoon tea. That way at least I get to absorb some of the atmosphere even if I don't have the luxury of staying the night! x Melissah
