Some Christmas Photos!

I just wanted to share with you some
Christmas photos of my family.  Thank-you so much for all of your heartfelt wishes on the floods in Queensland.  It is amazing to me that you, who are so far away, care so much.
I felt I wanted to share these with you ....

                                 Our Christmas Tree ........

Our Nativity Set nestled amongst the presents .....

I started with blue and silver and then Georgiana said, "Mummy, we have to have every colour!" .....

Christmas Day ... Georgiana very excited with her Alice in Wonderland Chess Set ......

Dominic and I enjoying a beautiful Christmas evening .....

Dominic with his cousin, Tom .......Christmas night ..........

Sustenance for the reindeer and of course Santa............

My beautiful boys on Christmas morn ....... there is no greater love .....

The little Princess is very excited ..........

My Christmas Turkey .... I think my beautiful American friends would be happy ... 5.2 kgs!!!!!!  I cooked 30 roast potatoes (we are of Irish descent), honey carrots, green beans and I stuffed the turkey with a very old family recipe!  I did pan gravy from the roast pork and I felt happy that traditions had been carried on..........

In the evening we shared plum pudding with my family including my Mum and Dad .... this plum pudding recipe is a very old one from my great grandparents ..... it is a boiled cloth plum pudding which takes four hours to cook ..... served with cream and ice-cream .....

My gorgeous Mum very happy with the plum pudding .....

                                     Happy Christmas!!!!!

Good wishes to you all ..... these are some of our fairy lights ....

Frances,
I bet the best present you got for Christmas was having all of your children under your roof. Might I add that your family is simply gorgeous...what a good looking group (cousin and grandma included!) I have been meaning to write you and let you know that for Christmas eve dinner I served your risotto dish and there was not a grain of rice to be left on a plate or in the pan. I explained to everyone where the dish came from and how I thought it was wonderful that my Australian friend is now a part of my holiday tradition!

GOOD MORNING MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND! I am so late because of being back to school this week after a two week break! So much to do around here with our addition that the evenings are a race to work, eat, visit blogs and then sleep!!! YOUR PICTURES ARE JUST PRECIOUS and thank you for sharing them. I missed you so during the holidays, but I really hope that everyone out there is recovering well from this most unfortunate disaster...it is in these times that we pull TOGETHER, near or far.

YOUR FAMILY IS GORGEOUS!!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, Anita

Good morning darling....at least it is morning for me! Oh, thank you for coming over. I will soon be posting about our addition, but it is not done yet. However, today the final plaster is applied, the floor goes in Wed., we start painting on the weekend and the furniture will slowly be moved in after that!!!! I have a way to go until I can afford the white linen curtains (for I am going for a relaxed French Brocante look!!!!!) and then my crystal chandelier still needs to be ordered!!!!!! I cannot wait to show you all!

May every thing and everyone important to you be filled with love and hope for this new year dearest. KEEP WELL and are you loving your settee????? I cannot wait to give mine her rightful place when all of this is done!!!! Anita

So glad you shared these beautiful photos! You are so truly blessed. When I get around to it, I hope to post some of my own Christmas photos. I'd love for you to see my crew. I'm also happy to know that you are indeed okay in Queensland. Many blessing in the New Year, Frances!

Dear Fran,
Of course, as I would expect, your Christmas looks very stylish. I love the tree & all the beautifully wrapped gifts. Surprise, surprise my Christmas theme wasn't all that different white, silver & aqua. Your daughter looks so sweet and your family always looks like they are having so much fun which is why I I have so much enjoyment from reading your blog.
