New York Part Two!

The Tiffany window displays were incredible .....

Just what I would love ..... a Tiffany blue painted front door!  This was another of their Christmas window displays!

whilst Andrew and Alex took Georgie ice-skating in Central Park ... Dom and I went walking and discovered all of the treasures along Madison Avenue .....
Ralph Lauren was fabulous!

The elegant Ralph window displays ...

enticing tray at the Plaza ......

beautiful buildings with stunning architectural detailing ... my favourite the black iron Romeo and Juliet balconies ..

This gorgeous panda was to be found at FAO Schwartz along with mega sized chupa chups and nerds boxes which Georgie desperately wanted to bring home!

Tiffany staircase at the 5th Avenue store..

I found my lovely Laduree ....

at The Plaza we met some lovely girls from Georgia and we had a wonderful time getting to know each other ... Amy, Chris and Trish .... we loved meeting you!!!!

Christmas lights everywhere ....

Now this is a bear !!!!!

OH MY G..............

THAT TIFFANY BLUE STAIRCASE! I think I may need this color runner going up to my bedroom!

Frances, the Tiffany windows...you know, I contacted Tiffanys the day after my paper wedding dress went up in a local bridal stationary shop window. I am bold....I asked what is necessary to get a gig with them to decorate their windows but my overactive enthusiasm was crushed when I learned that like everyone else, they are corporate and only hire in-house. I believe that the gentleman who was the head art director for over 50 years just passed away. So not just any artist off the street can get their work in their windows!

What a fantastic trip you took my dear. I think your new year is off to a wonderful start! THANK YOU for visiting me and I send you my fondest wishes for a lovely week! Anita
