Pool House Kitchen ~ Cooloola

I thought you might like this kitchen which is in our pool-house. I went with the black granite which is gorgeous .... inspiration from "Something's Gotta Give". As we all know we are obsessed with that movie, well I certainly am, and the kitchen was very inspirational for me in doing our pool-house kitchen. The pure white cabinetry with inky black granite benchtops and a colonial feel with cedar timber shutters and overhead fans plus triple posting and collars on the verandah added to the colonial feel. Once again, I did a porcelain sink and beautiful tapware ... I believe in longevity and the classics and it will stand the test of time....... Come on over!

Good morning sweet queen!

Oh, yes, do bring some pink scones, cherry vanilla almond, and I shall provide the tea: PARIS from Harney and Sons....the best Vanilla tea ever! Oh, what dreams may come, from these gorgeous WHITE embellished domiciles..whether grand and expansive as yours or tiny and fairy-like such as Sandra's.....we can dream in them, create them and invite our friends to play in them. Thank you for coming to visit and I hope that you will continue to enjoy this fabulous summer. Oops, wait! You are in Australia, having winter! OH! And thank you for offering your expertise on the decorating of my new addition! I will most definitely keep you informed! I want to achieve the French Country Farmhouse (provençal) look. I am switching over to natural elements such as linen upholstery on my French settee, Oh, against the marble fireplace! I want to mix comfortable, accessible elegance with a bit of rustic. You know what I mean...I have also learned that in my small cottage, drapes that are too frilly or pronounced don't work. So I think I may switch to a very low-key linen type of window treatment, so as not to take away from the actual view outside of the window...beautiful boxwood gardens outside my door.

Let me know if you know of any good on-line sources for this style, when you can dearest!!!! Anita
